Journal of Water and Irrigation Management (JWIM) has a scientific-research validity (letter number: 159727/3, dated 2012.8.23 of the Commission of Scientific Publications, Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Iran), which is publishing since spring of 2011. This journal is an open access, double blind peer-reviewed, and quarterly journal. Journal of Water and Irrigation Management with the aim of providing the possibility for exchange of information and dissemination of the results of the researches in fields of water resources management (surface and groundwater), agricultural water supply or demand management, field water management, irrigation and drainage networks management and surface runoff management helps to increase and promote knowledge among scientists and researchers in research institutes and universities.
Journal of Water and Irrigation Management is fully “open access” journal, and all published papers are free to access immediately from the date of publication.
JWIM applies double-blind peer review policy for the review process of all submitted articles. According to this policy, the identities of both reviewers and authors are concealed from each other throughout the review process.
All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism by the “Hamtajoo” plagiarism detection tool at the primary processing stage. Manuscripts with plagiarism will be rejected.
According to initial review of the manuscript by the Editor-in-Chief, manuscripts that do not fit the scope of this journal will be fast rejected. There are no charges for fast rejected articles and no submission charges. The submitted manuscripts that fit the scopes and the format of this journal will enter the review process. Before the review process, the author(s) will be requested to pay 3,000,000 Rials for the review process. When the manuscript is accepted, the other 3,000,000 Rials will be received from author(s) to cover some of the publication cost.
