Journal of Water and Irrigation Management has a scientific-research validity (letter number: 159727/3, dated 2012.8.23 of the Commission of Scientific Publications, Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Iran), which is publishing since spring of 2011. In this journal, basic, applied and developmental researches in the field of water resources management (surface and groundwater), agricultural water supply or demand management, field water management, irrigation and drainage networks management and surface runoff management in the form of research articles, theoretical, analytical and review paper are published in Persian with English abstract.

Journal of Water and Irrigation Management is fully “open access” journal, and all published articles are free to access immediately from the date of publication.
